10 Things You Should Know Before You Accept an Audition
Today I am going to tell you all things to keep in mind while leaving for film Audition. As we know acting is all about honesty. Fake person can't be good actor as everyone know the best examples. So i have written some points from my experience point of view. Which i am going to share with you guys!!
So here are seven things you should know before accepting an audition!
1. Accountability: Don't make assumptions, and don't confirm without getting your questions answered. Get prepared for the audition instead of reading or writing something. Just recall in which you are best. In theater we use to tell students never say never to any roll. No roll is small or big, all are equal whether roll of bagger or roll of king.
2. Availability: Acting want dedication and punctuality. Because replacement can be made at any point. It is your responsibility to double check callback and shoot dates for a job prior to confirming an initial audition.
3. Conflicts: Clear your mind toward your roll. Never get conflicts between yes or no. Be confidence in what you doing!! Are you willing to work for scale? Are you willing to go out of town? Do you require a guarantee of days if the shoot may be, “One, two, or three days, depending on role”? . Always feel you can do it.
5. Dues: Pay your union dues. Period.
6. Documentation: Do not confirm an audition if you lack the necessary documentation to accept the job on a quick turnaround before you are not good enough to improvise the scene on stage.
7. Content: Content is king so write your everything thoughts and ideas that come in your mind. We use to see and observe many things in daily life. we can use that all in improving our characters for the play and audition.
8. Confident: Be confident before going to stage for audition.
9.Acceptance: Always accept your mistakes if it noticed by your director or seniors. it will help you in improving your next trial.
10.Be More Dreamer: creativity comes with your dreams so never take your dream in negative ways. make your imagination into real.
